TerpenexTM
is a unique preparation, using only proven bio-active terpenes found
in nature. Over the years, scientists have isolated these terpenes
from plants such as the melaleuca and plant-derived compounds like
coal tar. Both of these have been used for centuries to treat dandruff,
itching, fungal diseases, and many other skin disorders. Unfortunately,
both melaleuca oil and coal tar contain hundreds of other chemical
constituents, many of which are toxic or irritants.
By using NMR (nuclear
magnetic resonance) and GC (gas chromatography), we have
isolated the terpenes common to melaleuca oil, coal tar and other
proven treatments. Then, we had them tested at the University
of Wisconsin for efficacy, selecting only the terpenes that are
safe, nonirritating and effective. With these terpenes, we have
been able to formulate a quick-acting shampoo treatment that will
clean, deodorize and disinfect in one step.
Directions:
Shampoo thoroughly once or twice per
week as needed, paying particular attention to problem areas. Avoid
getting shampoo in animal's eyes.
